Range: 1901 - 2001 Size: 56 cubic feet Record Group:The YWCA of Â鶹ÊÓƵAPKwas organized 1901 to “advance the physical, social, intellectual, moral and spiritual interest of young women.” Throughout its history it has provided training, education, housing, and social, religious, and athletic programs for the women of Â鶹ÊÓƵAPKand Summit County, Ohio. The records include meeting minutes, correspondence, financial documents and ledgers, newspaper clippings, scrapbooks, photographs, negatives, slides, and motion picture film that document the history of the organization over a 100-year period.

- University Archives contain historical resources that document the history and development of Â鶹ÊÓƵAPK and its predecessor institutions.
- Special Collections documents regional (mainly Â鶹ÊÓƵAPKand Summit County) history, and other designated collecting areas. Special Collections materials include personal and family papers and historical records of local governments, businesses, and civic and community organizations. Collection strengths are the history of the rubber and polymer industry, lighter-than-air flight, and Ohio canals. Special collections also include local government records for a nine county region.
